Job Purpose
The purpose of the Technical Systems Analyst (Design) role is to design, document, and optimize technology solutions that support freight movement, transport planning, route optimization, and fleet visibility. This role focuses on technical solution design and integration, acting as a bridge between business requirements and IT implementation. The role ensures that systems, APIs, and data flows are designed with scalability, security, and performance in mind, enabling digital logistics transformation across the enterprise.

Competency Requirements
Knowledge
- Integration protocols and formats (JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, EDI).
- Relational databases and SQL.
- System architecture principles and data flow design.
Technical Skills

Qualifications and experience requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in systems analysis or technical design roles within IT.
- Experience in API design, system integration, and technical specifications.
- Background in logistics, freight, or transportation systems (advantageous).
