Kanu Equipment specialises in the supply of cutting-edge mining, earthmoving, construction, road construction and agriculture equipment. Kanu is the largest dealer for Liebherr & Bell Equipment in East, West, Central & Southern Africa. Kanu Equipment currently employs 557 people across 14 countries, is supported by a big-brand supplier base and has an active product range of 4,6 million products.
The project consisted of two focus areas;
- Implement a “best-practice” controlled Business Management Solution to allow Kanu to accurately and efficiently report on their business operations.
- Design and build integration throughout the Kanu eco-system spanning to its Customer and Suppliers.
The Goal
To provide a scalable Business Management Solution that allows Kanu Equipment to expand and grow within a multi-legislative and multi-currency market, namely Africa. As a business that implemented Sage X3 in 2013, Kanu was set to grow substantially over the subsequent seven years. Sage X3 was positioned to grow with this demand and has been instrumental in enabling this expansion.
